Terms and conditions
These terms govern your use of the 925Chandi website and any order you place through it. By browsing the site or placing an order, you accept them.
They are written to be read. Where a subject has its own page — delivery, returns, cancellations, payments, privacy — this page points there rather than restating it in different words, because two versions of one rule is how a shop ends up breaking its own policy.
Who you are dealing with
925Chandi is a 925 sterling silver jewellery brand selling online across India.
Our registered business details are available on request through our customer care channels.
Using this site
You may use this site to browse our collection and to place orders for your own use. You must be capable of entering into a binding contract under Indian law, and the information you give us — your name, delivery address, phone number and email — must be accurate and your own to use.
You are responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your password to yourself. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it.
You may not use the site to interfere with its operation, to extract its content in bulk, to place orders you do not intend to accept, or for anything unlawful.
Our products and how they are described
925Chandi sells jewellery crafted in 925 sterling silver — 92.5% pure silver. Nothing on this site should be read as a claim about gold content, gemstone grading or investment value unless a listing states it expressly.
Every listing publishes what the piece is made of, how it fastens and how big it is. That specification is the description you are buying against.
Photography is taken to represent a piece faithfully, but screens differ and finishes photograph differently under different light, so a small variation in colour or tone between the photograph and the piece is not a fault.
Because pieces are made in batches, small variations between individual items of the same design can occur and are part of how they are made rather than a defect.
Orders and when a contract is formed
A product listing is an invitation to place an order, not an offer. Your order is an offer to buy, and a contract is formed when we confirm the order.
We may decline or cancel an order — for example if the item is unavailable, if a payment cannot be verified, if the delivery address is not serviceable, or where an order appears fraudulent. Where you have already paid, you are refunded to the payment method you used.
Very occasionally a price or a product detail is published in error. Where the error is obvious, we are not obliged to sell at the wrong price: we will contact you, and you can confirm the corrected price or cancel with a full refund.
Prices and payment
Prices are in Indian Rupees. Delivery charges, where they apply, are shown at checkout before you pay, and the final payable amount is calculated by our servers.
Prices, offers and promotions can be changed or withdrawn at any time. A change does not affect an order already confirmed.
How you can pay, how an order is confirmed, and what happens when a payment fails are set out in the Payment policy.
Delivery
925Chandi delivers within India only. Every price is in Indian Rupees and every order is delivered to an address in India.
Delivery timing, charges, tracking, failed deliveries and delays are set out in the Shipping policy. Any delivery estimate is an estimate rather than a guaranteed date, and risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
Returns, exchanges and cancellations
Returns are accepted under the Return and refund policy. Returns can be requested within 2 days of delivery.
Cancellations are covered by the Cancellation policy. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other law that applies to you.
Accounts
You can shop as a guest or with an account. An account keeps your order history, your addresses, your saved pieces and your returns in one place.
You can ask us to close your account. Closing it does not delete records we are required to keep, such as records of orders and their tax documents.
Reviews and anything else you submit
Reviews are published at our discretion and may be moderated or declined. A review must be your own honest experience of a piece you bought.
Do not submit anything unlawful, abusive, misleading, or that infringes someone else's rights. By submitting a review or a photograph you allow us to publish it on the site in connection with the product.
Intellectual property
The design of this site, its photography, its copy and the 925Chandi name and marks belong to us or to our licensors. You may not copy, republish or use them commercially without our written permission.
Liability
We take care to keep this site accurate and available, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the extent the law allows, our liability in connection with an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Indian law, including your rights as a consumer.
Events outside our control
We are not liable for a delay or a failure to perform caused by something outside our reasonable control — including weather, natural events, strikes, civil disruption, transport or courier failure, power or network outages, and acts of government.
Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of India, and are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version published here at the time you place an order is the version that applies to it, and the date this page was last changed is shown at the foot of the page.
Complaints
Complaints are handled through our customer care channels. Write to [email protected] or call +91 00000 00000 (Monday to Saturday, 10:00 am – 7:00 pm IST). Please include your order number and a description of what went wrong, and we will look into it and come back to you.
