Customer information

Shipping policy

How your order gets to you: where we deliver, what delivery costs, how you follow it, and what we do when something goes wrong on the way.

The delivery options available for your address, and the exact charge for each, are always shown at checkout before you pay. Nothing is added afterwards.

Where we deliver

925Chandi delivers within India only. Every price is in Indian Rupees and every order is delivered to an address in India.

Because no order leaves India, no customs duty, import tax or clearance charge can arise on a delivery from us.

Delivery is to the street address on the order, so please give a complete one with a reachable phone number. A small number of PIN codes are not serviceable at all — where that applies to your address, checkout will not offer a delivery option for it.

Order processing and dispatch

An order is processed once it is confirmed. For an online payment that means once we have verified the payment with our payment gateway; for a Cash on Delivery order it means once the order is placed. You will see the confirmation on screen and the order will appear in your account.

Each piece is checked and packed before it is handed to our courier partner. We do not publish a fixed packing window, because we would rather not promise a day we cannot control — your order's page in your account shows its current stage from the moment it is placed.

Delivery charges

Delivery is charged per order, not per item. The options available for your address and the charge for each are shown at the delivery step of checkout, and the amount in your order summary is the amount that will be charged.

Where a free-delivery offer is running, it is applied to your bag automatically and shown in the order summary. If your summary shows a delivery charge, that is the charge for the option you selected.

Delivery times

We do not publish a fixed delivery date. Transit time depends on your PIN code and on the courier, and a date we cannot control is not a promise worth making. What we can tell you is exactly where your parcel is: once it is handed over, your order page carries the courier's tracking reference and the latest status the courier has reported.

Any delivery estimate given by a courier is the courier's estimate, not a guaranteed date.

Need it by a particular date?

Please ask before you order rather than after. We will tell you honestly whether it is achievable for your PIN code.

Tracking your order

Every order has its own page in your account, under Orders. It shows the order's current stage, its items, its totals and its invoice.

Once the parcel is with the courier, that page also shows the tracking reference and the courier's most recent update. If you checked out as a guest, the confirmation page you were shown after placing the order is your link to the same information — keep it, or create an account with the same email address to see the order in your account.

Delivery attempts, wrong addresses and refused parcels

Please check the delivery address and the phone number on your order before you pay. The courier delivers to the address on the order and calls the number on it, and an incomplete address or an unreachable number is the most common reason a parcel comes back to us.

If you spot a mistake, tell us immediately. Before the parcel is handed to the courier we will try to correct it. After hand-over we cannot change the delivery address with the courier.

If a delivery cannot be completed, the courier will try to reach you on the number on the order. Where it still cannot be completed, the parcel is returned to us.

If a parcel is refused at the door or comes back undelivered, we will contact you to arrange either a re-delivery or a refund of the amount you paid. Re-delivery may carry a further delivery charge, which we will tell you about before arranging it.

Damaged, tampered, missing or empty parcels

Please look at the parcel before you accept it. If the outer packaging is torn, opened, re-taped or obviously damaged, refuse the delivery where you can, and photograph it before opening if you have already accepted it.

Where possible, film the parcel being opened in one unbroken take, starting with the sealed parcel and the shipping label. For a missing-item or empty-parcel claim that recording is by far the most useful evidence, and it is what we will ask for.

A damaged, incorrect, missing or short-shipped item is handled under the Return and refund policy, which asks for photographs and resolves these cases with a replacement. Tell us as soon as you can after delivery — the return window runs from the delivery date.

If a courier reports a shipment as lost, or a parcel marked delivered has not reached you, contact us with your order number. We will raise it with the courier and stay with it until it is resolved.

Delays outside our control

Once a parcel is with the courier, its movement is in the courier's hands. Weather, strikes, civil disruption, road or air restrictions, local shutdowns and festival-season backlogs all delay deliveries from time to time, and none of them is something we can shorten.

We are not liable for a delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, but we will keep your order's page updated and help you chase the courier. If a parcel stops moving for an unreasonable period, contact us and we will act on it.

Still need help?

If anything about your delivery is unclear, or your situation is not covered here, please get in touch before you act on an assumption — it is almost always quicker to ask.

Write to [email protected] or call +91 00000 00000 (Monday to Saturday, 10:00 am – 7:00 pm IST).
